COMET Africa has successfully completed the installation of the Temperature monitoring solution for the Sydney Brenner Institute of Molecular Bioscience. This project involved the monitoring of addition fridges and room temperatures, an extension to the existing COMET Lab monitoring solution installed.

The site hosts a number of -80C Freezers and 4C fridges.

If an alarm occurs, the recipients are notified via SMS. The recipients can then query the temperature of any Fridge or Freezer directly from their cellphone. All readings are recorded and store for any future reporting that may be required.
